ICU Church is an interdenominational Japanese and English speaking congregation consisting of people not only from the university but from the greater Tokyo metropolitan area. The church is unique in that Sunday sermons, given in English or Japanese, are simultaneously translated with the aid of a local transmitter and earphones. The church sponsors a full program of activities including a choir, a church school, a kindergarten, a women's association, university student fellowship, Bible classes, and more. The congregation is committed to active participation in worship, service, education, mission, outreach and fellowship. To this end its members offer their time, talents and gifts.
